From Wikipedia: Amadore is a historic locale in the township at 43°11â?²42â?³N 82°35â?²09â?³W / 43.195°N 82.58583°W / 43.195; -82.58583. It was named for pioneer settler Amadore Fuller. A post office operated from June 1868 until October 1873 and from December 1873 until January 1943. It was a station on a branch of the Pere Marquette Railroad and was also called "Galbraiths Corners.
