A custom branded video player is a dynamic landing page on a Vidlisting member’s own website with the same look/feel/branding as that website. The page provides a place where website visitors are redirected when they choose to watch a video. However, unlike a normal flash video player, the page also allows you to present additional content related to the video being watched. Many members also use their custom branded player page to recommend alternate local real estate video or non-video content to video viewers.

On The Vidlisting.com Domain: This functionality is designed to be on member websites. Therefore, it is unavailable for implementation from the Vidlisting real estate video web page.
On Vidlisting Members’ Websites: Custom branded video players can be a full page or partial webpages at the members’ option. The majority of our members using this feature have chosen a full page including existing website header, footer, and member selected alternative content that are delivered from Vidlisting virtual hosting servers on the member’s own domain. We also have completed implementations where only a part of the page is virtually rendered by Vidlisting and the member retains direct control of the rest of the page. In all cases, members retain control of the metadata presented on the page for SEO purposes.
The feature is part of a number of different packages and does not come in a stand-alone version. Since there is an element of custom design, it must be requested by the member but is automatically included in Premium and Corporate level packages. The primary video presented in custom branded video players is completely managed by Vidlisting. Alternate content presented depends on the desires of the member and the content they want to have presented. The videos are hosted on Vidlisting infrastructure and all content is presented according to your configuration.
Custom branded video players take approx. one business day of design work to complete the video player page so that it matches the look and feel of the host website. After design is complete, the standard implementation takes approx. 30-60 minutes working with an organization’s web developer. This feature is not available to Free or Gold level members.
On Self Hosting Partner Sites: This feature is not generally available to self hosting partners because, well, they are already self hosting video content on their own sites. Custom branded player pages can be made available to self hosting partner sites as an optional feature without developer APIs and not included in the pricing of the developer packet.
