The Achilles heel of online video for enterprise use is the need to cut and paste video embed codes. The more swiftly that video related content changes as a real estate organization grows, the more manual intervention is required to manage these videos. Until now, the organization could give direct access to the HTML code for its website or the organization would have to sacrifice the look, feel, and branding of their website in order let members cut and paste their own video content from different video providers. Reviews of this content often occur after the content has been posted publically.
Vidlisting has developed a simple system where an organization can retain 100% control over the look, feel, branding, and approval of uploaded video content as well as eliminating the need to cut and paste video content into listings or directories on one’s own website. Multiple members or staff of an association, brokerage, portal, or event can upload real estate videos with a consistent look, feel, and branding on their webpage. The video content is uploaded and simply appears in the listing with the organizationally approved look, feel, and branding of the site.
The approach allows the organization to be far more productive as multiple staff, portal members, and groups all upload quickly without having to search for and paste real estate video embed codes.
On The Vidlisting.com Domain: This feature is designed for use on Vidlisting member sites not on the Vidlisting portal using videos for real estate. Real estate video uploaded using this feature does not appear on Vidlisting at all.
On Vidlisting Members’ Websites: This feature consists of a simple online video upload form that is part of the member website domain. Once uploaded, the video simply appears in the correct spot. Members have the choice of requiring an approval step for videos (default) or allowing them to be made immediately live after processing.
The design of the form and appearance/presentation of the video normally takes 1-2 business days and is closely coordinated with the member. Implementation on the website normally takes about 30-60 minutes with the site’s technical staff.
This feature is unavailable to Vidlisting free members, Gold level members.
On Self Hosting Partner Sites: This feature is not currently available via the developer application programming interfaces (APIs).
